Overnight Oats

Looking for an easy weekday breakfast? This overnight oats recipe is for you! Make it today, enjoy it tomorrow, at home or on the go.


I made this recipe Friday for Saturday but the possibilities are endless.

In a small airtight container (like a mason jar) combine:


1 cup of oats

3/4 cup oat milk

1 TBSP maple syrup

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup walnuts

1/2 tsp vanilla


Mix well, seal the jar, and refrigerate overnight. That’s it.


You can vary this in so many ways:


Try different cuts of oats

Add a tsp of chia, hemp or flax seeds

Replace the oat milk with almond, soy or coconut

Use slivered almonds or crushed peanuts in place of walnuts

Top with a dash of cinnamon and fresh berries or your favorite jam
