Tahini Protein Balls

Yonni Wattenmaker

I have been running ragged! Not much about which to complain, but just lots of moving parts, including me. Meetings on meetings, travel, business events, plans...trying to find the quiet where I can. And the healthy food.

I am a fan of tahini. I like the salty, nutty flavor profile and use it in a ton of my recipes. I decided to give it a try in a protein ball recipe, in place of a nut butter, and the result was absolutely delicious. Just put all of these ingredients into a blender for a quick chop. Roll them into balls (I got 9 out of this recipe) and pop them into a freezer in an airtight container. Grab and go as desired!

2 TSBP tahini

1 TBSP maple syrup

1/4 tsp ginger

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1/8 cup dried cranberries

1 TBSP sprouted pumpkin seeds

1 tsp cacao nibs

1/8 cup dark chocolate chips

1/2 cup walnuts
